The main material of the components needs to be local! U.S. Department of the Treasury Issues IRA Manufacturing Incentive Rules
On May 12, the U.S. Department of the Treasury issued preliminary guidelines for IRA local manufacturing incentives. The detailed rules pointed out that certain conditions must be met to be considered domestically manufactured in the United States, and tax credits will be granted. For the classification of manufactured products, the U.S. Treasury Department also gave a detailed list. Photovoltaic brackets, photovoltaic modules (and the components and packaging parts of modules), inverters, battery packs, and battery cases are all manufactured products.
