European power companies slash purchase prices for rooftop photovoltaic power generation
The research report shows that in the recent 51 energy contracts of European energy and power companies, the purchase price of electricity has dropped from more than 20 cents per kWh at the beginning of the year to an average of only 8 cents. The government believes that by reducing the take-up price for rooftop PV, it can encourage residents to use their own electricity more and invest in home battery storage systems.
