Germany seeks proposals for 10GW solar plant
The German Ministry of Economic Affairs (BMWK) has launched an expression of interest process inviting solar module manufacturers to set up production facilities in Germany. The government aims to allocate investment subsidies (capital expenditure) through the Temporary Crisis and Transition Framework (TCTF), subject to budgetary availability and European Commission approval. The goal is to establish a production capacity of 10 GW along the photovoltaic value chain.
