European Commission: Proposed allocation of 2.36 billion euros to support the manufacture of photovoltaic panels in Hungary
Recently, the European Commission (EC) approved the allocation of 2.36 billion euros for Hungary to invest in accelerating renewable energy strategies including solar photovoltaics. The funds will be paid in the form of direct grants or tax incentives. The Hungarian government stated that in addition to the 2.36 billion euro plan to subsidize solar photovoltaic panel manufacturing companies, it will also plan to support industry equipment manufacturers such as wind turbines, heat pumps, electrolyzers and energy storage, as well as manufacturers of key components upstream of the industrial chain. subsidy.
