Iraqi government clears way for Masdar's 1 GW solar plan
Renewable energy developer Masdar will be able to move ahead with the deployment of a 1 GW solar power project in Iraq after the local government cleared hurdles to the project's development. Iraqi Electricity Minister Ziad Ali Fadil made the announcement during a meeting with a delegation of UAE companies.
