Renewable energy investment in Southeast Asia to reach US$119 billion by 2027
Driven by wind, solar and geothermal projects, the Southeast Asian country will invest $119 billion in renewable energy by 2027, according to energy research firm Rystad Energy. In the short term, more than $76 billion will be invested in renewable energy from 2023 to 2025. According to Rystad Energy, the energy transition in Southeast Asia is being driven by different countries in the region, including Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia.
