Biden: The cancellation of photovoltaic tariff relief policy will not be extended in June next year
On Tuesday local time, U.S. President Joe Biden vetoed legislation passed by the U.S. Congress that would have repealed U.S. exemptions from tariffs on imported solar panels from four Southeast Asian countries. As a result of the bill's defeat, the two-year delay in tariffs would last until at least June 2024. Meanwhile, Biden added that he "does not plan" to extend the tariff moratorium when the 24-month moratorium expires in June 2024.
