EU to add 69GW of solar and wind capacity in 2023
The EU will add 69GW of solar and wind capacity in 2023, a year-on-year increase of 17%, according to a new report outlining progress a year after the launch of the REpowerEU programme. The report cites statistics from Eurostat and Solar Power Europe. Statistics show that the combined capacity of solar and wind power in 2022 will be 56GW, of which 41GW will be solar.
