Pakistan exempts tariffs on raw materials required for modules, inverters, etc.
Senator Ishaq Dar, Minister of Finance and Revenue of Pakistan, recently announced the exemption of tariffs on raw materials used in the production of solar products. Announcing the 2023-24 Federal Budget, Minister Ishaq Dar said, "This exemption covers essential components such as inverters, solar modules and batteries, and marks a positive step in the promotion of renewable energy in Pakistan."
