India's solar capacity hits 70GW milestone
As of June 30, 2023, India has cumulatively installed 70.10 GW of solar power capacity. In addition, Energy Minister RK Singh reported to Parliament this week that 55.90 GW of PV capacity is still being installed. Among all the states and union territories in India, Rajasthan leads the way with 17.8 GW of photovoltaic capacity.
