Total invests $300 million in Adani Group subsidiary to enter Indian solar and wind energy market
On September 19, French energy giant Total Energy announced an investment of US$300 million to establish a joint venture with Adani Green Energy, a subsidiary of the Adani Group. Both parties in the joint venture will each hold 50% of the shares. Total Energy pointed out that through this joint venture, Total will obtain ownership of the assets invested by Adani, that is, own its wind and solar assets, and will cooperate to develop the wind and solar markets.
