Renewable energy power generation in Germany will account for more than 50% in 2023
On January 2, Germany’s energy regulatory agency, the Federal Network Administration, stated that renewable energy sources such as wind energy, hydropower, solar energy, and biomass energy will account for more than half of the country’s power generation in 2023. Deutsche Presse-Agentur reported, citing data from the Federal Network Administration, that renewable energy power generation in Germany will account for 56% in 2023. This compares with 47.4% in 2022.
